A New Jersey mom and special education teacher sobbed as she was sentenced to 12 years in prison for raping a 15-year-old student she was “obsessed” with — as the teen delivered an emotional statement to the court. Allison Havemann-Niedrach, a 45-year-old former teacher at Freehold Intermediate School, broke down as the victim delivered an emotional statement to the court before a judge delivered the sentence on Friday, the Asbury Park Press reported. The student, who was not identified, said his months-long relationship with the teacher was “like a nightmare” and that he would not want anyone to suffer the same experience.
