New York emergency responders’ sluggish response times to emergencies and crimes has gotten even worse under the Mamdani administration, according to data in the newly released Mayor’s Management Report (MMR). The time it takes FDNY ambulances and fire vehicles to reach the scene of a “life-threatening medical emergency” jumped more than a minute and a half, from 10 minutes, 21 seconds to 11 minutes, 55 seconds.
