A former New York City teacher raped a student for years and sent vile text messages to her when she was between 16 and 17 years old, according to the city’s Special Commisioner of Investigation. Lennard Persaud, who taught at John Adams HS in Queens, began engaging in “non-consensual sexual intercourse” with his female student in 2014, according to a recently released SCI report. “His conduct was not only egregious and dangerous but was predatory,” the report said.
