Nebraska fired offensive coordinator Dana Holgorsen amid an ugly midseason collapse. The Cornhuskers let go of Holgorsen on Saturday, less than 24 hours after a 24-13 loss to Illinois, which extended Nebraska’s losing streak to four games following a 5-0 start. Nebraska head coach Matt Rhule confirmed the firing in a statement, noting his frustration with the team’s offensive performance.
