A Southern California man was arrested for allegedly using stolen credit cards to buy thousands of dollars in gas that he stored in his modified truck. Tigran Gabrielian, 61, of Murrieta, was taken into custody Wednesday at a gas station in the 2000 block of Borchard Road in the Newbury Park area, the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department said. Authorities believe Gabrielian is one of several people allegedly involved in a fuel theft scheme, in which multiple stolen credit cards were used by suspects to purchase as much as $2,500 worth of fuel at gas stations in Ventura County.
