A University of Chicago frat bro accused of raping a 19-year-old during a February party reportedly remained an active member of the fraternity — until a newly filed lawsuit exposed his alleged crimes this month. Kevin Shim, the sophomore Alpha Delta Phi member who allegedly sexually assaulted the unnamed “Jane Doe” at a Feb. 7 frat party, was living it up — getting invited to social events, posing for pictures with his pals and attending math and computer classes for his major — until he was publicly identified in court papers, according to the Chicago Maroon, the university’s independent student-led newspaper.
