Hundreds of mourners packed into a San Francisco church to bid farewell to slain retired police officer Ann Mannix and her daughter Katie Mannix — as the pair’s devastated loved ones condemned the “brutal act of violence” behind their deaths. Mannix, 65, and her 24-year-old daughter were honored Friday at a funeral Mass at St. Ignatius Parish attended by top San Francisco elected officials and scores of law enforcement officers, who accompanied the caskets of the deceased women along with Mannix’s two surviving children and extended family members.
