A Texas husband was fatally shot in front of his wife and sister following a bust-up after a softball game – with his family claiming racial slurs were being hurled at him before he was gunned down. Jarmon Mattix, a dad of three, was shot following a dispute that started during a softball game in Humble, Texas, on Sunday, and spilled into the parking lot. It’s unclear what sparked the dispute, which involved two groups of people, but it led to four people being shot, Sidney Miller, a Harris County homicide detective sergeant, told reporters, and children were among the witnesses.
