A Division II college football game between Colorado School of Mines and Washburn ended after regulation Saturday due to extreme heat in Kansas. The heat index before overtime was 107, according to Colorado School of Mines’ release, and that prompted the stoppage of the game. A lengthy delay reportedly followed, and because it wasn’t scheduled to drop below the required Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletic Association-required 92.
