A reckless Porsche driver was caught on camera pulling off a dangerous escape in Los Angeles County after the luxury car was hooked up to a tow truck Friday. The driver of the Porsche, which appears to be a Panamera, slammed the gas and dragged the tow arm down the street in Glendale in a bid to stop the luxury car’s surrender. Metal screeched as the sports car, which retail new for more than $100,000, ripped off its own rear bumper and shredded its suspension before finally tearing free and speeding away.
