The teenage cousin of slain Lily Peters pleaded guilty to killing the 10-year-old in a shocking conclusion to the saga that began when she didn’t return home over four years ago. Carson Peters-Berger — Lily’s now 18-year-old cousin — pleaded guilty to first-degree intentional homicide in a Chippewa County court Wednesday morning, and was sentenced to life in prison, WEAU reported. He will have the possibility of extended supervision in 25 years, and was credited with four years served for the time he’s spent behind bars since being arrested at 14, just days after Lily’s death in April 2022, CBS reported.
