Hero San Clemente dad paralyzed after diving into the Pacific Ocean to save child caught in rip current

A California father of five has been left paralyzed from the neck down after he jumped into the ocean to try to help a child caught in a rip current. Josh Collette, 42, from San Clemente, was at Riviera Beach with his family on Aug. 15, when the kid, aged around seven, got caught in the waves, his sister, Hillary Collette, told KTLA.
