A Manhattan man was sentenced to 26 years to life behind bars on Wednesday for chopping up his ex-girlfriend with a meat cleaver and living with her dismembered corpse in her Brooklyn apartment for a month. Justin Williams, 27, learned his fate in Brooklyn Supreme Court for hacking his 22-year-old ex, D’Asia Johnson, to death inside her East New York apartment on Aug. 21, 2022.
