A Texas mom accused of killing her 3-year-old daughter by throwing her against a wall has been busted in Mexico after nearly 30 years on the run, officials announced. Maria Narez, now 48, was accused of killing her daughter Kasandra White in November 1996 by shaking, beating and then throwing her in her Fort Worth home. The then-teen mom was indicted by a grand jury the following year — but vanished after a judge lowered her bond to $25,000, according to court documents reviewed by Fox 4.
