A jealousy-stricken man accused of gunning down his Navy sailor girlfriend and her homeless lover in San Diego has also been accused of sexually abusing children. Prosecutors charged Ryan Wesley Proffitt, 33, with the sexual abuse of two different children just days after he was charged with the double murder. Proffitt has now been slapped with 16 charges related to the two children, including sexual intercourse and oral copulation with a child aged 10 or younger and forcible lewd acts upon a child under the age of 14.
