A “miracle lawyer” who built a massive immigration firm serving Spanish-speaking people is facing a sweeping federal class-action lawsuit accusing her of fraud. The suit, reviewed by The California Post, was filed June 15 in the US District Court for the Western District of Washington by lead plaintiff Maria Guadalupe Diaz Toscano against Seattle-based immigration attorney Alexandra Lozano Kennedy and her law firm La Luz del Camino Legal PLLC. It claims the company systematically targeted undocumented immigrants with promises of legal relief before steering them into costly immigration applications that plaintiffs claim had little chance of success.
