A fugitive doctor convicted of raping a woman aboard his yacht managed to build a new life in California under a false identity while evading authorities for more than two decades. Ronald L. Fischer, 70, a former anesthesiologist, had been living in Los Angeles under the alias Richard Graydon, where law enforcement sources said he ran a biotech company on Olympic Boulevard.
