Julia Letlow defeated State Treasurer John Fleming in the state’s Senate Republican primary runoff Saturday — marking the latest display of the president’s primary election pull. Letlow will be the GOP’s nominee come November, having received over 55% of the vote compared to Fleming’s 45%, with 41% of the votes counted.
