Tyrell Gibbs, 34, told The Post he was working the door at the trendy luxury resale shop Rebelonging for fewer than than two weeks when the brazen crime unfolded — and led him to tap into his boyhood experience as a tight end and receiver on the football field to shut down the illegal rush. “You meet them at the line of scrimmage,” said Gibbs, who has an eight-year resume in security and hotel service — and the physique and face to land him modeling jobs, too.
