First look inside George Lucas’ new LA museum as life-size Star Wars battleships go on display soon

When George Lucas’ long-anticipated $1 billion Los Angeles museum opens this fall, visitors will be transported into a realm where Luke Skywalker’s Landspeeder and other iconic Star Wars vehicles await them. Last week, the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art revealed that visitors will finally get their first look inside the sprawling Exposition Park attraction on Sept. 22 — with roughly 20 inaugural exhibitions spread across more than 30 galleries, according to the Los Angeles Times.
