What does Thomas Pieters’ golf future look like if LIV Golf folds? Well, it certainly does not involve a return to the PGA Tour. The Belgian golfer was “ready to retire” if LIV Golf closed up shop last month after reports questioning the league’s future popped up ahead of LIV Golf Mexico City, Pieters told golf journalist Dan Rapaport in an episode of “Dan on Golf” that aired on Monday. “I was ready to retire on Monday if they really pull the plug that quick, and that was OK with me,” Pieters, 34, said.
