WASHINGTON — Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis released a tentative new congressional map for the Sunshine State Monday that could give the GOP up to four additional House seats, canceling out a gerrymander approved by Virginia voters last week. The proposed map would eliminate four Democratic-leaning districts in central and southern parts of the state, leaving Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Orlando, and West Palm Beach as deep-blue strongholds.
