IKEA to open Culver City location — but it won’t be the same blue-box warehouse format

IKEA is going small, but strategic, in Los Angeles. The global giant is set to unveil a new urban-format store in Culver City’s Helm Design District, with doors officially set to open May 2. Located at 3225 A Helms Avenue, the 38,050-square-foot space marks the company’s 11th California location and its first city-center concept in LA.
