LIV Golf played its opening round in Mexico City as scheduled Thursday, and will carry on through Sunday’s completion in the sixth tournament of its 14-event 2026 schedule. That, however, doesn’t mean all is well with LIV Golf. To the contrary: It feels like there are more uncertainties surrounding the Saudi-backed tour than there were before it conducted its first tournament.
