Woman’s body found floating in Long Island Sound prompting homicide investigation

A dead woman was discovered floating in the Long Island Sound on Monday evening, police said. Cops responded to Lloyd Harbor Road in Lloyd Harbor after receiving a 911 call about a body spotted bobbing in the sound at 7:45 p. m, according to the Suffolk County Police Department.
