NBC missed the putt badly on this one. The network apologized Saturday after showing the wrong crash footage while providing details on Tiger Woods’ most recent car crash and DUI arrest during its coverage of the Texas Children’s Houston Open, instead showing footage from the 2021 incident in Los Angeles. “We want to take this time to make a correction,” NBC Sports announcer Dan Hicks said.
