When it comes to the configuration of their positional group, the Yankees have many ways they could go and potentially many decisions to make. The key word in that sentence was “potentially. ” They are in wait-and-see mode because 1) they know that mainly due to injuries, many decisions are made for a front office rather than by it, and 2) they continue to remain open-minded about outside depth additions, perhaps a righty-hitting catcher or, more likely, a righty-hitting outfielder.
