Dean Trantalis, Fort Lauderdale’s Democratic mayor, revealed the shocking claims about the violent ordeal as he testified in court against his former beau, 34-year-old Daniel Curran, on Friday. The couple had been in a relationship since March and social media posts show that they got engaged in July, months before Trantalis filed for a domestic violence injunction against Curran in September.
