It’s been nearly two months since NYC debuted its 17 high-tech public restrooms to the tune of $235,000 a pop — or, perhaps, a poop. Equipped with no-touch amenities, calming plant-print wallpaper and soothing music, the free public toilets created by tech startup Throne Labs have a 10-minute time limit for gotta-go New Yorkers. And so far online, the results have been a royal flush.
