Before Matthew Stafford took the field for the Rams Salute to Service game against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday at SoFi Stadium, he was seen welcoming members of the military. He and his wife Kelly purchased a suite for the 10 active-duty and veteran Navy Seals and their guests before Sunday’s 24-9 victory, where he completed 17 of 25 passes for 157 yards, with one touchdown and one interception. “They’re ultra important to us being able to live the lives that we live,” Stafford said to California Post senior sports reporter Michael Duarte.
