The family of a New York doorman killed by an NYPD officer in a drunken wrong-way collision raged at the former cop as she was sentenced to up to 12 years in prison — saying she “knows the damage that drunk driving causes a family” as a law officer. “She has seen firsthand the devastation that actions can leave behind,” said Eric Boitel, whose 61-year-old father Manuel was killed in January by then-cop Tiffany Howell. “She knows that one reckless decision can take someone’s life, tear a family apart and leave loved ones carrying pain for the rest of their lives,” Eric said in a Westchester County court Wednesday as Howell received her sentence, CBS News reported.
