She’s on the mark, Teixeira says. Republican attorney general candidate Saritha Komatireddy hit a home run Monday, landing the endorsement of former Yankees All-Star Mark “Tex” Teixeira. Teixeira, who is now running as a Republican congressional candidate in Texas, was the switch-hitting first baseman for the 2009 Yankees championship team — the last to win the World Series for the Bronx Bombers.
