So many teams would’ve crumbled before this point. A third quarterback making a start in a season by Week 7? The best of those three out for the season with a significant knee injury? The best defender out, too, with a torn ACL? A committee of four running backs — now down to three — who haven’t mustered anything more than the 19th-best rushing total per game? So many teams, and so many past versions of the Giants, would’ve entered Sunday’s game against the Texans with a record far worse than 3-2-1. But not this one.
