A high school teacher and soccer coach who posed as a teen online to solicit nude photos from underage girls was sentenced to three years in prison Wednesday.   Ryan McCaffery, 38, a Riverhead High School social studies teacher and junior varsity soccer coach, used Snapchat to pose as a teenage boy and “quick added” hundreds of random young girls to ask them to trade nude photos, according to the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office. Between December 2024 and January 2025, the perverted teacher sent numerous minors images of his exposed penis and asked them for nude photos in return, while also sharing and even purchasing child porn on other sites, prosecutors said.
