Just when it seemed the Los Angeles Rams’ season couldn’t get any worse, one of their biggest stars went down without anybody touching him. Wide receiver Davante Adams suffered an apparent left knee injury late in Sunday’s devastating 18-16 loss to the Arizona Cardinals at SoFi Stadium, adding another potentially catastrophic blow to a team whose Super Bowl aspirations are rapidly disappearing. The injury occurred during the Rams’ final touchdown drive, when Adams suddenly pulled up in the back of the end zone and began hopping on one leg.
