A man was nabbed Friday in the horrific hanging of a black mother of four in Mississippi — just a day after state medical examiners classified her death a homicide. Jacques Ratliff, 51, was cuffed by Jackson police as he strolled down Capitol Street, hours after officers executed search and arrest warrants in connection with Tasia Fortune’s death. “That arrest today is an important development in this investigation, but it is not the conclusion,” Jackson Police Chief RaShall Brackney told reporters, warning that additional arrests are pending in the active case.
