Former Jets running backs coach and ex-Memphis legendary quarterback Kippy Brown died Monday at the age of 71, according to the university. Brown also played a critical role in helping the Seahawks win their first Super Bowl in 2014 before retiring after the 2015 season, and coached for seven NFL teams during his career. “He was a great friend to everybody, because he had such a positive, good, fun-loving spirit,” former Seahawks coach Pete Carroll told the team’s website for an article published Tuesday.
