Two climbers stranded on a treacherous cliffside 600 feet below a Big Sur roadway were dramatically airlifted to safety after rescuers swooped in with a helicopter Saturday evening. The high-stakes rescue that was caught on video, unfolded near Hurricane Point on Aug. 22, just north of Big Sur, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
