Geno Smith to start for Jets against Steelers

Geno Smith will take the field in a Jets uniform on Friday for the first time in a decade. The 35-year-old quarterback will start the team’s second preseason game against the Steelers in Pittsburgh, a source confirmed to The Post’s Brian Costello, after he missed the preseason opener against the Buccaneers due to ankle soreness. Smith practiced all week, though head coach Aaron Glenn on Wednesday wouldn’t say whether Smith would play against the Steelers.
