Legendary LSU baseball coach Skip Bertman dead at 88: ‘Never be duplicated’

Five-time LSU baseball national champion coach Skip Bertman died Friday at the age of 88, according to the school. The school did not state a cause of death. “Few people have had a greater impact on LSU than Skip Bertman,” the school’s Vice President/Director of Athletics Verge Ausberry said in the school’s release.
