The mystery surrounding the death of a prominent California plastic surgeon has deepened after officials revealed she drowned, but still can’t determine how she first ended up in the backyard pool. Sarwa Ama Aldoori, 71, was found dead in a swimming pool behind an upscale Bakersfield home on June 30, according to the Bakersfield Police Department. Now, a forensic postmortem examination by the Kern County coroner’s office has determined that Aldoori’s cause of death was drowning, per KGET.
