US Ambassador to the United Nations Mike Waltz on Sunday vehemently pushed back against reports that critical American munitions stockpiles are being dangerously depleted as the Iran war rages on. Waltz balked at the notion that US strikes on Iran have drained America’s arsenal and said that while the war in Ukraine may have drained some US supplies, the country has more than it needs to take on Tehran. “I want to be crystal clear: The US military — and I’ve verified this every which way — has everything that it needs to conduct this campaign as effectively as it needs to be,” Waltz told NBC’s “Meet the Press.
