Tesla booked a $112 million BTC loss|Credit:Getty Tesla booked a $112 million after-tax loss on its Bitcoin in the second quarter and sold exactly zero coins. Its 11,509 BTC sat untouched while Bitcoin slid roughly 14%, from about $83,000 in early April to $58,000 by the end of June. The holdings closed the quarter marked at $674 million, down from $786 million in March.
