Mets’ Devin Williams logs first blown save of season in follow-up to brutal outing

CHICAGO — Devin Williams’ last two appearances for the Mets have sounded the alarms. After an ugly performance Wednesday against the Dodgers in a non-save situation, the right-hander got hit with his first blown save this season in Sunday’s ninth inning. Michael Conforto’s game-tying RBI double against Williams helped sink the Mets in their 2-1 loss to the Cubs in 10 innings.
