A’s star Brent Rooker exits game vs. Yankees in middle of at-bat in injury concern

The A’s had some bad injury lucky during their series finale in The Bronx on Thursday.   Star outfielder Brent Rooker left the A’s 1-0 win in the middle of his first at-bat during the opening frame with what the team is calling right flank discomfort. Rooker, a two-time All-Star, fouled off an 0-1 pitch from the Yankees’ Ryan Weathers during the top of the first inning and immediately grabbed at his side.
