A pit bull viciously mauled a two-year-old boy and his mother in a random Texas attack that left the tot fighting for his life. “He was just covered in blood,” the boy’s mother, Kelsey Marie Welch told WFAA. Welch, 30, who lives in Pecan Acres Mobile Park in Midlothian, said that she let the pit bull mix out of his cage for a walk when it went berserk and burst into her son Julius’ room, proceeding to bite the toddler’s head on March 27 at approximately 9:30 pm.
