Football Hall of Famer Darrell Green wants to make Team USA’s flag football squad at 66 years old

Pro Football Hall of Famer Darrell Green’s playing dreams are still alive.   The 66-year-old two-time Super Bowl champion is taking part in team trials this weekend in California with hopes of making the USA Flag Football’s national team ahead of the 2026 IFAF Flag Football World Championships in Germany. If all goes well, Green, who retired from the NFL in 2002, would receive an invite to the team’s training camp next month.
