A newborn girl was mauled to death in Michigan after she was left alone with a stray dog her family had only recently taken in, according to cops and her heartbroken grandmother. The unidentified 5-day-old girl suffered multiple puncture wounds when the mixed-breed dog attacked her in the family’s Novi home, just outside Detroit, on Tuesday morning, cops said. “That baby should never have been left alone,” Linda French told WXYZ — saying she never even got to meet her new granddaughter.
