An Iowa mother is accused of giving a pregnant relative an opioid-laced holiday lasagna in the hopes she would have a miscarriage, according to police. Amber Snow, a 36-year-old mother, allegedly mixed oxycodone into the pasta dish and delivered it to the pregnant woman’s family just three days after Christmas last year, according to the Winneshiek County Sheriff’s Office. The Italian staple was “intended to cause a miscarriage to a pregnancy of a woman in the family that received the lasagna,” the sheriff’s office said in a statement.
