St. John’s clinches second straight Big East regular season title with gritty win over Seton Hall

It was fitting that the Big East clincher would come at Prudential Center.   Before Rick Pitino’s arrival, this building was a house of horrors for St. John’s, which owned a 1-12 record in Newark before winning in this building last winter.
